Texas has been good for us. It is not nearly as humid as everyone kept warning us it would be. I think non-texans forget sometimes that Texas is very, very big.
Juliet is finally starting to sleep through the night again. I think she was feeling very insecure at first, with the trip to virginia, the move, and then the move into her own room. The first few weeks here in texas she acted like she was "ready to go home now." I think it is finally sinking in that we are home! Poor baby. She is a doll and we love her. As most of you know walking has been her only mode of transportation for the last month. She is growing up so fast! We are so glad Brett got a job because now we can start to find her some clothes that fit!!!
She is cutting two more teeth on the bottom which brings her to a grand total of eight. All the ladies at church keep telling me what a nightmare it will be when she starts cutting her molars. Oh well, we will have to see.
Thank you everyone who has prayed for Brett to get a job! For those of you who don't know he is now working as a construction manager for the next two months. He feels woefully unqualified for the job but they hired him and we'll take a paycheck wherever we can get it! So far he has been making good money. We miss having him home most of the day but it has been very nice having the money roll in occasionally instead of always out out out out. I am also watching a two year old each day for about 5 hours. It has been interesting to say the least. I won't say the most. We are grateful for the extra income it brings in. I am saving every penny from it for the cruise. No play money for me!! (Many of you may argue that cruise money is play money. But it doesn't count if you have to wait a year to play with it. :P )
Brett is planning on starting school again in January, considerably sooner than we had originally planned, but we are both excited to see him getting through his education. Just 4 1/2 years to go!!
We love you and hope all is well!!
